Best team is subjective.

This is dumb analogy. The things you mentioned above isn't subjective opinion like labeling a team " the best".

Mad? I didn't play in the game. I was over 1/9 when the game clock expired. My post was to prove that the most deserving team ISN'T always the best team and that's all I was say saying. Did you not read the post I replied too

Yeah I think an 11-1 team with wins over 4 top 25 teams should get in over a team with 2 wins over top 25 teams but they are percieved to be the best team with nothing it back it up but opinion.
If you have p5 conf teams that are undefeated, you have no idea who the best team is because they haven't played each other.

I said the best team isn't always the most deserving. At no point did I say Oklahoma St was the best team.

Best teams based on the teams they have played and record in those games. Florida, LSU, Clemson and OSU would be my four this first week. Bama and Baylor are my first two out

Bama is neither best (lost at home to Ole Miss), or deserving (lost at home to Ole Miss).

I vote for the performance shown so far as they do. They know the unbeatens will sort out and strength of schedule will start to even out.

The eye test only matters end of year trying to pick between teams. It's very fluid now. The committee showed that last year. While I don't agree Bama should be top 4 for now i wouldn't be surprised to see them win it.

A big flaw with the old voters is they vote on record only. This new system helps take into account what you have accomplished.

Also some voters fall into the trap of ranking where they think teams finish to help justify rankings. That is starting to go away.

If I had to place money on the champ right now I would take winner of LSU Bama and Ohio state.

Again, how are you determining the best team? If two team have the same record and they haven't played each other,how do you know who the better team is?
