So is lacrosse getting 60 points instead of 20 when it is not played by many schools which is why the OP is stated the way it is. Awarding 60 points for lacrosse (same as football, basketball, and baseball) seems just as absurd. Lacrosse should only be worth 20 points or the SEC should get NASCAR at the college level (and 60 points)

NASCAR is not a sport. Ergo the SEC will never have it as a sport.
