If the SEC adds Clemson and FSU, I think that'll be the end of SEC expansion

Just my thoughts....

If they add North Carolina along with Clemson and FSU, then I think they'll be open to one more school.

If it gets to that point, I think it would be: N.C. State.

They're very good academically and they have a good well-rounded sports program. Of all the North Carolina schools, they're the one that's most serious about the sport of football.

SEC expansion isn’t going to be “over” until it’s basically AFC and NFC with the Big Ten.

I don't think the SEC will voluntarily double down in states.

I also think at a certain point you don't need additional football powers. Schedule is going to be insane when it goes to 9 games.

I think when it gets to that point they will focus on North Carolina and UVA

Considering money is driving all of this, eventually the conversation of kicking schools out will have to begin. No network is paying billions of $$$ for Mizzou vs Vanderbilt or Miss St. vs Arkansas.

Or each sport needs to hire their own commissioner
Leave the NCAA
Scrap the conferences and redesign the whole sports landscape
You can even have separate leagues if you want - if a school doesn't want to compete in baseball so be it

So, NC determines if 4+ are added. No NC = just FSU & Clemson?

They really want UNC too so there will have to be 4 teams. Maybe NC stare, Duke or someone

No way we should add these 2 teams. No way. North Carolina and Virginia is the place to be.

And who do you pull for? Are you a charter school fan? Don’t sound like it.

It’s not contraction, it’s adding value by subtraction. A network will pay more for Georgia vs Clemson than Georgia vs Vanderbilt

I’m out if we start kicking schools out for no reason other than they aren’t “worthy” anymore is ridiculous. These conferences are bigger than just football. Vanderbilt baseball is SEC worthy. They’re a charter member and kicking them out of any other charter members is jumping the shark.

All charter members should be protected. They are the REAL SEC. These Johnny come latelys don’t bring anything exciting to the conference and should be kicked out

UNC itself doesn't determine if a 4th is added...it could be anyone. However, reports say UNC is a likely 3rd target. IF--IF--IF it happens, my thinking runs along the lines of a 4th member that would be added, to make it an even 20 members. I dunno...again, it's "just my thinking".

Comprendre? (I hope so).
