UGA showed the country what a passing attack could do to that Defense in 12.
And still lost.

In 11, they did not play any great passing team.

Ok st would have been absolutely smoked in 2011. Oregon would have been a good matchup in 12. I like our chances in 13.
Again, Bama Secondary was their weak link the last three years. When a team that mirrored Bama in style, they won. Ok St had a passing game that would expose that secondary. In 13, they lost to one of the teams, who in turn was defeated by the other. Oregon would have been a nightmare for them with one week to prepare.

Okay you think we lose Oklahoma State fine I get that whatever. I'd assume 90% of other college football fans, I think would agree with me and say that Alabama in 2011 would've beaten the shite out of Oklahoma State. Oregon would have been very tough to prepare for in one week, but Stanford doesn't seem to have too much trouble with it and I think our talent level is a bit higher than Stanford's. We are never going to agree on this, so I'm not sure why I even responded. You keep on doing you.
Let me just add that the 2011 secondary was by no means a weakness for Alabama

im sorry, but nobody in 2005 is beating us..That team was unstoppable

But in 2009, i still think bama edges us out with the rushing game. That two headed monster in the backfield was to much to handle..i think we wouldve kept it close and bama winning by 3-7..

That team got by OSU by 3 and USCw in the final seconds. I believed they would have won a 4 team playoff but unstoppable seems a bit much.

In 2011 Bama faced one team that remotely had a passing game(ARK). Ok St averaged nearly 400 yards per game passing.

Oregon's offense is not that difficult to stop so everyone needs to quit saying it is. LSU stopped it, Auburn stopped it, Stanford stops it every year so stop it with the Oregon's offense shite. Blow their asses off the line, like power teams do, and they fold like a maid. Bama would be Oregon easy. Oh and Bama's secondary was weak in 13, but in 11 it was really strong, less strong in 2012 but no where near weak.

LSU stopped it with the Spring and Fall to prepare for it. AU had 6+weeks to prepare for it and Stanford has seen it for years and played in a pass happy league.

quote:If you think Chavis spent an ungodly amount of time preparing for that then you may be naive. It isn't that hard to stop. When they lose its because the D-line they face is usually more dominant, that is it. That allows the rest of the guys to make plays because they don't have enough time to execute their offense properly.

Same strategy that Bama used against A&M and AU last year. Sounds easy.

Bc Oregon's line is just as talented as AU and A&M

In all honesty Auburn's plan to stop it was…be bigger and faster than their oline.

They did not lack talent on the Offensive side of the ball. When their QB was hot, they were just as effective as a Cam and JFF lead team.

Um... no. In 2011 and 2012, ESPECIALLY 2011, our secondary was sick. Dee Milliner, Dre Kirkpatrick, Robert Lester, DeQuan Menzie, Mark Barron? 2 All Americans, 3 First Round Draft Picks, 4 All-SEC players?
Do you even know Football?

Right. Their oline was just as talented as AUs and A&Ms.
