All had the same number of wins against Saban...and didn't lose to him.

You went too hard early on. Should have buried the hook a little more as it was a good one.

Going to assume this is parody and not delusion but hard to tell on the internets. Nick Saban's greatest foe? Seriously? Jordan Jefferson beat Saban more than Manziel

He is easily Saban's greatest foe. The contrast in the two kinds of football they represent is the stuff of legend. Manziel is a process destroyer. His greatest moments come in times of chaos. Saban needs order. He fears chaos. He needs a process. Manziel represents everything Saban tries to eliminate on a football field.

I don't think the off the field stuff will factor in too much, and some of it will depend upon whether or not he produces at the next level. Assuming he has some modicum of success in the NFL (not necessarily a Hall of Fame career, just that he's productive in the league for a respectable period of time), then he'll be viewed a lot like Archie Manning at Ole Miss--an all time great who didn't have a good enough supporting cast to get a championship. If he goes on to have a great NFL career, it will be a little bit more of a legend in the making. If he's an NFL bust, then he will be viewed as a guy whose talents perfectly fitted the college game, but not the pros.

Still scored more points than anyone ever thought possible against Saban, and put up more yards than Alabama has ever given up in their history. Saban is .500 against Manziel, but even an slightly below average Aggie defense would have changed that. If you don't think Manziel is Saban's greatest foe you're crazy. Saban has been less successful against other players, no doubt, but that's because it is a team sport.

That of a QB who carried his team to 8 wins despite having almost no defense whatsoever.

19-6 in two years at aTm is a nice legacy, especially when the second season would have been a total loss without JFF on campus.

So it was delusion. "Process destroyer"? Really? Manziel has had exactly ZERO effect on the fortunes of Saban.

Tebow and Garcia single handily beat Saban led Bama teams too.

What are their career stats vs Saban? Have you seen Manziels?

Hell, Daniel Cobb went 1-1 against Saban.

I think that "Saban's biggest thorn in foot" would more accurately describe Manziel vs. Saban.

Saban was bailed out by Baylor shocking K-State, Colt McCoy's vagina, and Iowa State knocking off Oklahoma State, and the 2013 Aggie defense being historically terrible.

Saban's fortunes are FAR beyond his control. Manziel being on of the things he had some semblance of control over, but Manziel STILL dominated his defenses.

Those are Texas A&M's stats vs Saban. Not Manziel's.

Heisman winner and was the leader of one of the best offenses in college football. The losses are the fault of Kevin Sumlin and a horrible defense. No team should lose scoring 40+ points a game.

He was hardly a system QB. Not sure how his success will translate to the pro game, but he has nothing to hang his head about when it comes to his production and effort on the field.

I don't think it does, personally. I think he will be okay, but his dominance will never be anything like it was in college.
