Saban was bailed out by Baylor shocking K-State, Colt McCoy's vagina, and Iowa State knocking off Oklahoma State, and the 2013 Aggie defense being historically terrible.

Saban's fortunes are FAR beyond his control. Manziel being on of the things he had some semblance of control over, but Manziel STILL dominated his defenses.

So you agree Manziel had zero effect on Saban ...thanks.

How his defenses played when he faced Manziel, he had control over.

He had no control over Colt's vagina, Baylor shocking K-State, or Iowa State beating Oklahoma State.

Are you slow?

Still scored more points than anyone ever thought possible against Saban, and put up more yards than Alabama has ever given up in their history. Saban is .500 against Manziel, but even an slightly below average Aggie defense would have changed that. If you don't think Manziel is Saban's greatest foe you're crazy. Saban has been less successful against other players, no doubt, but that's because it is a team sport.
All this said - - - years down the road - - - do you really think JFF's "legacy" will be that he was Nick Saban's greatest foe?

I mean I think people will remember him for it. I think if Saban retires in five years and someone asks who you'd want for one game with a chance to beat him, Cameron, Jonathan, or Timothy... the answer is obvious. No player has every put on performances like that, and given how much time Saban had to prepare for one of them, it shows it wasn't a fluke, but Saban's absolute best shot resulted in the most yards an Alabama team has ever given up.

But his "legacy" will more have to do with Texas A&M than it ever will others.

You do realize JFF was more productive against a far, far, faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar superior defense, don't you?

I mean, you do realize this, right?

Keep snuggling up with that QBR. Only one QB emerged from that game in a better place to win the Heisman, and he had a loss.
