Uhh, Bama was 5th in total D in 2010-11, the only SEC school, which is more than the ACC, which had zero...

Bama sucks

I never said they played Miami, and Carolina didn't play LSU to whomever said Garcia is better.

But your statement of ACC having more defenses in the top 10 than SEC was flat out wrong, even when you "claimed" you meant passing D.

To think Wilson couldn't hack it in the SEC is very ignorant.

By your standards maybe, but not in the real world. You're only defending him because he's rumored to be considering Auburn. He's a 3 year starter at a middle of the pack school at a middle of the pack conference...

As a QB in general? Yes.

If it made the difference in us making a New Years day bowl...hell yeah I would.

Yes he is better than Trotter / Mosley / Frazier and I don't have to defend him his number's do that for him. Andy Daulton played some "middle of the pack teams" and he is making NFL money right now. Name some other qbs that have thrown for 8500 yards and 70ish tds... I bet some of the names that pop up people wouldn't say garcia is better than them.

I don't blame you - I would think the AU coaches would feel the same way too.

Hell, they took a huge risk last year w/Newton who had some luggage from his past ~ I would think they'd jump at the chance to snag Wilson for this year.

I disagree. Cam had a full spring and summer to get ready.

Russell would have about 30 days. Trotter has been under Gus for 3 years.

I think they're just wondering when he'd be able to be on campus, whether he wanted to come to Auburn or not.

He could still be ready to play for y'all by October.
And, Lord knows y'all got a bitch of a schedule in October @SoCarl, @Arky, Florida, @LSU, Ole Miss.....

You just made cause if he went to Auburn then they would have a fighting chance to beat Alabama again. That is why he is coming to LSU to play with out talent and win a national title

Then i would rather hitch my wagon to Keihl...who could show up on campus in like 2 weeks.

I dont see any scenario short of off season injuries that AU wants or needs Russell Wilson.

And yes...our schedule sucks balls.

So a division 3 QB with 100 career TDs should instantly be SEC quality? By your argument "stats only" it is.

Wow, you can name 1 guy out of thousands who failed, nice.

You mean being a 3 year starter at a mid tier school makes you automatically better than almost all the starters at the top conference.

By those standards, Nathan Enderle > Cam Newton

I thought Molestenberger was gonna be Cam 2.0

According to an ESPN article, he's considering Bama too, doesn't mean I have to like him as a QB.

Russell Wilson is decent, but he would be about 4-5th in the SEC. We beat him twice while he was at NC State, and he didn't really impress me in either game.
