They ran 1 play with Franklin in

Yea, I think Clemson was expecting him to pull the ball and try to run which is why it was so successful. Once they see it a few times, it wont be effective. He is just not ready and not being able to throw the ball down field will kill the effect of him reading the defense.

It basically cuts us down to a QB run or RB run with no threat to throw down field.

Everyone giving JJ a hard time but he had a great early drive to get us on the board when White was shitting it he bed.

What hurt JJ was the in and out every down. We could probably be successful with either White or JJ but not with both running in and off the field every down. That system will certainly fail.

You cant put these guys in the situation Gus did and expect it to work.

JJ thinks too slowly and is bad at scrambling. With Robert Leff at tackle, he isn't going to be able to get it done.

If you run one play successfully, it doesn't mean you keep running the same play over and over again.

I know that. I realize I went a little overboard talking in positives as in not throwing the ball any at all. What I should've said is if they'd just went with JF3 I think the outcome would've been different than losing. The same could prob be said if he'd just kept White in. It's just my opinion. hard to say since we didn't see him throw except that little pass in the flat.
