I saw you mention that above and it made perfect sense to me. If they heard any of the recruits talking about the past two years and the upcoming schedule....maybe somebody speculated that Malzahn might not be there much longer and that spurred the extension. IF that is way happened, it would not be too far fetched to think another school is negative recruiting using that.

A legitimate point...and that tends to lend more credence to DuncanIdaho's theory of it stemming from something that was said at Big Cat.

It was signed April 1st which is more than 2 months before BCW
