I saw Blake Sims at the NFL combine. If Coker couldn't beat Sims out, you don't want him.

I just can't get over his slow wind up. Its just a bad quality for a QB.

Say what you want about Blake Sims, but he had one of the best seasons ever for an Alabama QB and broke multiple records. The guy was a good college QB.

Sims had a much better season than Marshall. What does that say about JJ?

No one is anointing Coker. He may never start a game at Bama.

It's not a coincidence that he's in his last year of eligibility at his 2nd school and still hasn't been given the starting job.

Yeah, to be honest I think we're fricked.

I give Sims credit were credit is do he played out of his mind! Chances of Coker doing the same are slim to none and slim just left. Bama could be in real trouble this year at QB as well as a bunch of other schools, us included.

Coker sucks. He's like a retarded version of Greg McElroy except with a stronger arm.

Better stats leading his team to a much better record. Point stands.

Better stats
I'll take Marshall's stats against P5 opponents.

Sims: 63% comp, 8.6 ypa, 15.2 att/td, 37.2 att/int
Marhsall: 61.5% comp, 8.8 ypa, 15.9 att/td, 39.8 att/int

Rushing
Sims: 4.1 ypc, 14.2 rushes/td
Marshall: 5.1 ypc, 11.8 rushes/td

if Auburn had your defense last year, they go to Atlanta. Point sucks.

Hell, you could list forty other ifs to dig out of that shite season of yours but a decent coach would have won ten games blindfolded with that team.

Coker is not smart from what I hear.

Don't say this shite it is not true. He was a honor student at St Paul's Episcopal, which is considerably harder than Alabama from what the students say. He has only played QB a few years. He was grabbed off the playground to fill a gap we had at QB his 10th grade year. He is a great athlete and was the Alabama basketball player of the year. He obviously didn't lean the full Bama system this year, Kinda like Harris at LSU.

I would not be surprised at all if he had a great year this year. Not a bit. LSU will probably be his break out game. Satan is good but he is a lucky SOB too.
