I could break the Bushwood course record, theoretically.

As of RIGHT NOW :

Top 30 wins
Alabama - 5
Ohio St - 3
Michigan - 3
Clemson - 3
Wisconsin - 3
Colorado - 2
Penn St - 2
Washington - 1
Oklahoma - 1
Florida - 1

You have to remember Oklahoma State. They have a legit shot at beating OU's arse in two weeks. They already beat the shite out of West Virginia earlier, a worse beating than what OU put on them IMO.

Depending on how the playoff committee looks at Ok State, IMO they only have one loss on the road at Baylor. They were shafted in the 2nd week loss to Central Michigan when an extra play was allowed that shouldn't have been.

Just my two cents.

They've already said they are considering OSU a 2 loss team

I don't see your team beating Bama either, but who knows. If you win out, you're in.

No they are not. If Bama beats Auburn, Bama is in barring a blowout loss to UF. Bama hasn't been blown out once in Saban's 10 seasons at Bama. You think this UF offense can blowout Bama?

Thats fine on their part. They did lose. But it was the way they lost, compared to Florida being blown out by a 7-4 team and then beaten handily by a 3 loss team.

Oklahoma State has 2 wins against the top 30 and would add a top 10 win if they handle OU, like I think they will. Their resume is better than Florida and they also sit at #11 heading into tonights CFP poll release.

On the flip side, OU has two good losses(if you classify a loss as good)and would add another top 30 win to their belt if they beat Ok State in two weeks.

They also don't have a conference championship game

Except they kind of do - OSU vs Oklahoma is the defacto Big XII title game and is played the same day as all the others.

Meh... I don't think any UF fan expected a CFB playoff berth this year.

I'd be a little miffed if we somehow beat both Bama and FSU and got left out.

But honestly, if we beat FSU, lose a close one to Bama, and end up in the Sugar Bowl against OU?

I wouldn't be mad.

What I am trying to say is...Even if Florida wins out, I see no way they get in the CFP.

Alabama even with a loss, drops no farther than #4. One of Michigan and Ohio State will still be in the top 4, unless they lose in the BIG CCG. If that happens, then insert another BIG team in their place. So that is two spots taken.

The Pac 12 has Colorado, Washington, and Southern Cal all ahead of Florida. All three aren't going to lose another game each.

Then you have the ACC with Clemson. It is certainly possible they can be beaten again. To me, they have looked shaky all season and have already dropped one game. Another loss and they're done.

To me, at that point you have to insert a Big 12 team...The winner of OU/Ok State before you insert a Florida team.

I doubt we would get in with 2 losses either way.

Yet, that is what this game is. Oklahoma State @ OU is for the Big 12 title. Outright, no split title this year.

It's not a conference championship game though. No matter what the stakes are, it's not a 13th game

So a 3-loss USC team gets in over Florida off of a victory over an Alabama team that absolutely devastated them? That doesn't make sense

Florida only plays 12 games too - so what's the real difference?

If Utah beats Colorado and USC beats Washington, again in the Pac CCG, SCal would still be above Florida.

USC has the 6th toughest schedule in the nation and another win over Washington would put them at 4 top 30 wins for the season and make their overall schedule even tougher.

The committee has said it won't hold games that are cancelled against a team. It's not like Presbyterian is the same as a potential matchup against Baylor.

Doesn't matter if its a 13th game or not. Its a title game against another top 10 team. Both OU and OK State will likely both be in the top 10 tonight when the poll is released.

Florida is only going to have 12 games this season anyway, even after the SECCG. So its a moot point bringing up a 13th game.
