No self respecting coordinator would voluntarily work under Orgeron

seriously doubt that Kiffin would make that move. However, if Orgeron goes 7-1 and Strong is fired at Texas, which would open the door for Herman going to Texas, Kiffin would be top of the list at Houston

I don't see it as a "lateral move" like LSU fans see it. It would be a big step down.

Also isn't Lane the highest paid coordinator at Alabama? Sure LSU might be able to save money with O, but would they pay Lane more to move??

LSU, highest paid coaching staff in the country fool!

Big difference.

Kiffin and Bama treated last week as a scrimmage to work on a few items and not get anyone hurt.

Ensminger and L5U were on a mission to save jobs and try to motivate the team after the Miles firing.

I don't think Lane is very fond of Ed after USC.

It's amusing how little people know about Ed and Lanes relationship. They are extremely close. They celebrate the holidays together and vacation every year.

How silly of all of us to think we could shatter the LSU fantasy. Herman will be hired as the HC, Ed O will stay as the d-line coach, Lane will make the move to Baton Rouge and be the OC, and Aranda will stay as DC.

Oh, and Saban will take the Texas job. Couldn't forget that one.

If Lane doesn't get a HC position and Ed becomes the LSU HC (which I don't see happening) Lane will be at LSU with him. This isn't just stuff I've "heard." Take it fwiw.

They did earn their pay checks after that tough Missouri team came into town.

Just a guess but I would think that Kiffin would hold out for a job on the west coast. Baton Rouge is wonderful but it ain't LA. Any of the SEC towns would seem like purgatory to him.

just because they still have to pay Les, and others
If their current staff featuring a head coach with what,a 4-28 sec record(or something like that)is the highest paid coaching staff, then LSU is getting ripped off

Lanard Fournette is going to be better than most think...he runs with an attitude. You can tell he wants to show he belongs there and not just because of his brother.
