I would say they have done the best the last 4 or 5 years, considering the monstrously tough and incredibly formidable schedules they have had to face........

bama passed us a long time ago with being insecure. If we had 2 titles in a row and gunning for 3 we wouldn't be asking for others to reassure us of how great we are.

Nick Saban is incredible. Any school Saban coaches will win national championships. I don't really look at it as Bama's program I look at it as Saban's program. Bama will compete for national championships just about every year Saban is there and probably the first year or two after he retires.
Then Bama will go back to being what they were between Bear and Nick.
This does not mean Bama will have the SEC all by themselves. I expect there to be at least 3 other teams competing for national championships each year, but the other teams will slide into and out of the competitive group on a year to year basis while Saban will stay in.

I would be insecure about the titles also. Coaches paying players, mulligans, etc...

It should be expected. If you have the number 1 recruiting class in the country, #1 football budget, and the highest paid coach/staff in the country, I would expect to also have the #1 ranking in the country. Anything less, could be argued as under-achieving and a disappointment.

Nick Saban has been a head coach for 24 years. He won 1 NC in his first 17 years where he coached somewhere else. He's won 3 at Bama in his first 6 and well on his way for his 4th in year 7. You can't win it just anywhere. We've had 3 coaches in the last 90 years that have won at least 3 NC's while at Bama. Neither of the other 2 won it anywhere else. We will have another coach that dominates CF after Saban leaves. Only a matter of time.

They can say this or that. We are undeserving or UA cheats and so on.

Any NCAA football fan would love for their team to be as dominate as Alabama.
