Nope. One loss conference champ in first. Committee has made it clear this is about conference champs.

SHOULD Auburn get in if they do what you said? absolutely.

Once again cool story you live by the state bible. I will live by what goes down on the field. Stats and trends can be broken and the best team doesn't always win that's what is great about football

I mean, if you want to live in which fantasy world where Alabama might not really have a good run defense have at it. We both know that isn't reality.

He doesn't have to. Unlike OleMiss Bama has both a passing and run game.

Once again reading comprehension I said Saban always has a great rush d, but to act like they won't give up yards because they are #1 rush defense is crazy

And yet all us Alabama fans have heard is how we should feel bad that he threw for an extra 100 yards and 13 points in garbage time so that his total went over 400.

The dude is good at throwing the football.

So cute. You pretending that you are worried that your team will actually lose. Get your money back for those acting lessons.

First two loss team in? No way the SEC Champ gets left out right? That will mean TAMU losing another SEC game to those pecker heads below us

Well A&M losing, so Bama still goes to Atlanta.

Honestly this would be a pretty easy year for a two loss team to get in as the SEC champs. Big 10 might have a loss, ACC should have an undefeated Clemson and Washington might go with no losses. There isn't a strong fourth option outside the SEC.

No, because they will lose to Florida in SEC championship in that scenario.

Gameday said yesterday that if LSU wins out they'll not only be in the playoff, but the #1 seed in the playoff.

But that would mean beating #1 Alabama, top 10 Florida twice, and top 10 A&M...

While Auburn plays Alabama and Vandy....

There are scenarios where a 2 loss SEC champion gets in and there are scenarios where they don't.

The Big 12(10) lost their two unbeaten teams yesterday and that conference is hot garbage. They will not have a team in the playoff. A one loss non-conference champion will not get in over Auburn. Not only has the committee made it clear they put a premium on conference champions, but no one loss team would match Auburn's quality wins or resume if we beat Bama.

Long way to go until that point, but to the answer the OP, IF Auburn got to that point I would feel very confident about our chances.

If a 2 loss Auburn SEC champ is up against a 1 loss Bama there will be a conversation about 8 teams in the playoff. Especially if Some other 1 loss teams wind up in the mix. To address the OP the score of the Iron Bowl and the SECCG would be big factors. A close win in both might let Bama get in ahead of them.

Let's play all the games first.

A non SECC will not get in. That goes for everyone. Right now it is a mini playoff in the SEC for a spot in the Playoffs.
