Why? We would have earned our way in by winning. It is not like we would be pulling a 2007 LSU and backdooring our way into the game.

We heard the same thing back in 2013. Auburn won't be able to run on Bama & we saw what happened.

This ain't the 2013 Alabama defensive line

AU might not get into the SEC championship even if they beat Bama. So they wouldn't be a 2 loss champ.

Let them think 2013 has bearing on the 2016 Iron bowl. It really is comical.

Well if TxA&M wins out then Bama will go to SECCG. AU will not go with 2 losses and not be SECC. AU does not control its own destiny.

Last I checked, Marshall wasn't AU qb anymore

If they win a close game with Bama, that's Bama's only loss, A&M only has one loss it would be very hard to put them in over either considering beating the east champ looks like a feat even the worst team in the west might have done.

If Bama, A&M and the barn tie who would go to the SECCG? We'd be down to G in the tiebreaker there I think. Since none of the 3 teams have Florida advantage Bama in the tiebreakers.

The barn's only path needs L5U to help.

Much more likely that a one loss Alabama team gets in over a two loss SEC champ.

We won't blow out Alabama so the committee will see a season of Alabama blowing out most of its opponents with a lone loss to a red hot rival.

I'm just fine with having a legit shot at winning the SEC. I'll bitch about the playoffs if that scenario becomes realistic.

If Auburn lines up and tries to run up the middle 60% of their snaps they will lose bad against the 2016 Crimson Tide.

And what elite rushing attack has 2016 Bama played this year? Nick will always have a great rush defense but the jury is still out on how elite this one is.

You should check out Texas A&Ms rush numbers and get back to me. Unless the #5 national rush offense isn't considered really good.

I'm not saying Auburn wouldn't run for 150 yards against Bama. They probably would as much as the run it, but these wide open 70 yard runs Arkansas and Ole Miss gave up aren't happening against Bama.

Oh and it is the same narrative every year. Bama beats teams down and the rant reasoning is every team they play sucks.

Cool and before lsu played mizzou they were #1 in offense in the sec. Up until Bama, A&M hadn't played any body with a good run d besides Auburn stats don't always tell the whole story.

But if you want to use A&M cool they rushed for 100+ with your guys knowing the calls

Averaged a whopping 3 YPC and had 115 yards

auburn plays defense like and runs the offense they ran last night,Bama will will by 3 TDs. That offense plays right into Bama's defensive strength.

I like Hurts, but he ain't throwing the rock like Swag did last night. Some of those throws were surgical precision with great coverage.

Once again cool story you live by the stat bible. I will live by what goes down on the field. Stats and trends can be broken and the best team doesn't always win that's what is great about football

If AU wins out including SECG they should get in. There won't be 4 Power 5 undefeated teams.
