Do you mind explaining what significant starters Auburn was missing?
Yea, Jaylon Denson, Josh Holsey, Jeff Whitaker, and Justin Garrett.

Auburn was the better team this year. It was proven on the field. Plain and simple.

That game, yes, when it counted, but not by much. Bama played better the rest of the year against the same competition. Congrats on the win, but don't be a homer by saying all year, because that's simply not true.

If Auburn played Alabama 10 times this season:

Bama wins 6 out of 10...

1 Football - AU win
2 Basketball - Split
4 Baseball - 3-1 Bama
3 Softball - 2-1 Bama

One more than you gals. Bama wins 9 out of 10 and the one win was a miracle.

Good luck in Pasadena. Feel better? I certainly don't want you to have me on your mind while preparing for FSU.

I think that if they play 10 times, Bama wins 7 or 8 times minimum, maybe 9? That's what makes Aubie's win so beautiful, and one for the ages.

Bama may have a few more 5* kids this year. So on paper it would appear that they are better. That does not factor in coaching however, and I think it's pretty obvious that Gus is superior to Nick.
