Auburn averaged 5.7 yards per rush and Alabama averaged 6.2 yards per rush....and "Auburn ran the ball down Bama's throat"?...Really?

34-28 says yes they did run it down Bama's throat. And I bet if you ask 296 random college football fans they would agree.

It is alright lil feller. Bama just doesn't have enough heart or balls to beat a good AU team even when they have more talent.
0-10 and counting.
Next year will be 0-11.
Your daddy has spoken and will speak again next year in JH West.

Auburn people here: Nick Marshall had obvious problems throwing the ball this season at times, but the dude has a rocket for an arm. If he improves his passing, doesn't that really open up what the coach wants for this offense? In other words, this is really a work in progress, isn't it?
Of course it will. The thing with Malzahn though is that if his team is running the ball effectively, then he'll keep doing it until it's stopped. Given another year, I think Marshall will improve his passing. It also helps that we have a game changer coming in at WR in D'haquille.

A former Auburn player told me that before each game, Auburn's head coach walks down the enitre sideline calling out numbers. He finally figured out that he was calling plays for each yard mark in his head to circumstances he was creating in his mind. Then, he added: "but nobody really knows what he's going to do in any one circumstance with play-calling or decision-making, which makes him all that more dangerous."
A former player under Malzahn told me the same thing, so I agree with this.

Yeah, they did. We had 300 yards of rushing offense, mostly coming right between the tackles. By any stretch of the imagination, they pounded it right at the heart of the Alabama defense and did what they do.

I see that y'all still don't like the idea of having to deal with the question....hurts, huh?

How about this:
Alabama isn't the best team in their country, their conference, their division, or their state, and Auburn, being the superior team, would win this matchup 5+ times.

I'll admit I was wrong. I thought Alabama would beat Auburn easily. With Sims running a lot of that offense already and the depth they had, I figured they would be more than ready for it - -practice-wise. They weren't.
And, I hear a lot of the plays were pre-called, or simply off the read prior to the snap. Again, another area where Auburn can get much more deadlier in their attack if the reads are done more after the snap. That's the complete offense, along with a more efficient passing game, which I assume is still a work in progress.
I was truly shocked Saban didn't go for the field goal late in the game. And, in the end, Auburn (coaches) put the right guy back there for the field goal, which I actually thought was a good idea for Alabama at the time.

Let him claim his hypothetical moral victory. It seems to be all that's keeping him going.

I like it. Just shows how gumps are still melting down and asshurt. Had a gump buddy try and console himself yesterday saying the same. Pointed out yeah bama has more talent, they just seem to lack the manhood to stand up and beat AU when it counts and AU doesn't suck.

What hurts? Which hypothetical question are you trying to claim victory on now?

This is what I'm trying to figure out.

I will tell you what kid. You ask all your questions in one post and I will answer them. It seems you have been tortured by a lot since the 1 second game was played. Big brother will try and ease your pain. Fire away son.

Had a lot of fun with 34-28. About as much fun as I have ever had from a single game.
Thanks for asking BTW.
