In all honesty, other than possibly Vanderbilt, I don't envision a current SEC stadium ever going away in our lifetime. I'm 22 and a senior at UT and I'd be shocked if in the next 60 years anything happens unless something drastically catastrophic happens like a f5 tornado or god forbid a terrorist attack.

IF a terrorist really wants to know the rath of this nation they'd do something to an SEC stadium.

BECAUSE the South would rise up like hell hath no fury and take those SOB's OUT!

Seriously the South truly would rise again. We wouldn't even need the US military. A southern militia would rise up and take care of the terrorist ourselves.

Pretty sure we are both Xi Duet boys.

Fortunately I took enough W's and changed my major junior year so I'm taking a half victory lap and graduating in December. I

Not hardly. Only 15 games were played between Arkansas and LSU in Little Rock compared to 25 games between the two teams in Shreveport.

It is, but I'm not a Phi Sig and i'm an idiot and fricked up the address/account name when I made the account, and didn't notice til it was too late. So it's been like that since I started haha. I do know a good amount of Phi Sigs though. I lived down the road a little bit.

A ton of people have probably assumed the same thing. I don't blame you.

None will ever get torn down.

Neyland might very well collapse one day, like Legion Field was in the process of doing.

This is how I know you have never sat in the visitor's seats at Neyland.

I have. It was the most uncomfortable visiting seats it's ever been my displeasure to sit in. It's not just the width of the seats, its the width of the aisle. And while you're dealing with these crappy seats Rocky Top is being played for the millionth time in the background. At least my team won.

When you sit in the visitor's seats at Neyland, your knees are in someone's back, and some else's knees are in your back. Sort of like in this picture:

Let's imagine you have to get up from your seat, and then take a look back at where you were sitting. That's right, your seat has magically disappeared. Because the butt cheeks to either side of you that were formerly compressed by you have now inflated to fill the space your butt formerly occupied.

Ok, I'm done ranting. But I won't return to Neyland unless I can score chair back seats.

Sorry for the hihack. I actually like what UT has done with Neyland's renovations. But I, like others think too many fans are artificially squeezed into that stadium.

There is a concrete bridge built over a century before the Pantheon still carrying auto traffic over the Tiber River.

Yeah, there's a reason those are the cheapest seats in the house. Just part of the mystique. There are plenty of seats in the stadium(that aren't chair backs)that are just fine.
