Which part do you all feel is not structurally sound? The oldest part is not metal but Stone or concrete in the South enzone. Most of the "erector set" has been removed.

This is the oldest side that hasn't been redone yet.

Under all that metal is a stone or brick or concrete building that used to be a dorm and is now offices.

The plan that I know of is to redo this side as time at some point to shore up the upper deck long term. You can almost see the building behind the metal facade in this picture below.

Kyle Field can hardly be considered "iconic". A&M has never done much in football and not many games with true national importance and attention have been played there.

Tulane Stadium, which was most definitely iconic, hosted 3 Super Bowls, not 2. Think of all the great Sugar Bowls played there. Man, I wish that stadium could have been saved. Really a special, special place.

I hope everyone, who said Neyland stadium, dies horribly painful deaths. I mean this, I'm 100% serious.

Tennessee will tear down Neyland the same day that ISIS flies it's flag over the White House. Lol at the rant saying Neyland.

Well, Neyland could at least make seats not made for toddler. 106,000 seats in a 75,000 seat stadium.

Lol thats just not true. If you can't fit, hit the treadmill or pony up and buy two tickets for your fat arse. Neyland might seem cramped and uncomfortable to me too if my team hadn't won there since Jimmy Carter was dealing with hostages in Iran.

tFear is inevitable. Each SEC fan is dealing with it in their own way. A big orange shite storm is coming and when we are back on the throne there is nothing anyone will be able to do to stop the Big Orange freight train. And they know it. Tennessee at it's best makes life in the SEC much harder.

SO many of these come from fans that used to come in the 90's and fans that only get to sit in the upper deck south end zone.

The seats are a fine width (seat back now in a lot of areas) besides that one area (which is where all the visitors sit pretty much).

Plus the fact that those that came in the 90s probably watched their team get slaughtered and it left a bad taste in their mouth. Only UF beat us at home in the 90s

Seriously though, did we lose like only 5 home games total in the 90s? Only defeats I can think of is Alabama in 1990 and 1994 and UF in 1994 and 1996.

It's beautiful. A true college football cathedral seeped in history and tradition.
