I am glad there are a few level headed Bama fans out there that laughed at this. Can it happen, sure anything can happen on the football field.

A lot of LSU fans seem to want Miles gone already

Those are far and few in between. Is Miles a quack, sure but that is what makes him who he is. Any Tiger fan is a fool to think the pasture is greener on the other side of the fence. Our last 4 losses were all lost on the final drives of the game. We could just as easy be sitting on only 1 lost since the NCG.

wow it takes back to back losing seasons before you would want miles gone?

imo any losing season at LSU should be a coaches last when we are talking multiple years into his term at LSU and the condition of our program when miles took over.

the only way i could even see a losing season being ok would be if our starting qb and back up qb were lost preseason or early in the season

It depends on the situation. One losing season would be so incredibly abnormal for an elite program like LSU that you'd almost have to assume extraordinary circumstances. For a guy winning 80% of his games with a national title and 2 conference championships, you allow for extraordinary circumstances and give him one more season. If he can't turn it around then you find someone else.

Take 2008 for example. Say LSU doesn't come back against Troy and stays home for the bowl season at 6-6. We know in retrospect that it was because of a terrible defensive hire, and that Miles cleaned house. Next year he goes 9-4, then 11-2, then 13-1, with a conference title and BCSCG berth in those 3 years, and specifically, with the defense leading the way. I think it's definitely worthwhile that we kept him (and it would have been true if we had gone 6-6 in 2008).

Only won by 21, not 21+. Therefore no pressure.

Not sure how many times this needs to be stated, but his contract isn't up until 2019, which means there will probably not be a new coach at LSU until 2020

If Bama manages to win by 21 or more ill ban myself for the regular season. There is no way in hell even if Bama is that good that we beat LSU by 21.

Bama will not win by 21, so I don't know why this is being discussed...

Miles team seriously lost its composure. They played a very good first half and should have been leading, but thanks to a fumble going in the end zone and another on a confused snap, they were losing. Still, they were tied and in great position in the 3rd quarter about to get the ball back. Yet, they lost by 21 and almost got the QB killed. He's gonna feel heat with the way it ended. LSU has not been ending games well at all (minus Mississippi State).

yes 21+ means 21 or more. Not sure why so many Alabama fans thought this would be a close game.LSU lost way too much in the draft on D.I don't think Miles should be on the hotseat fwiw, he is a very good coach imo.

Miles is a hell of a coach...you can't lose what they did on D and be elite this year...just can't. UNLESS YOU'RE ALABAMA.
