Rita was a Cat3 when it made landfall. Had there not been a Katrina, who knows if you would have played the UT game. It was pretty clear that LSU was going to have to figure out a way to play games if they wanted a season because there were several huge weather events. If Rita was a cat4 and if it was coming at BR no doubt the game would have been cancelled or rescheduled.

WTF?

I'm in Vero right fricking now. If we were headed to BTR we would be out of the hurricane zone in 3 hours and in absolute no danger from TLH west. Drop the dramatics...UF pussed out. You know it, I know it and everybody in the country knows it.

I rest my case. You are in an area with mandatory evacuations and you're more concerned about a game then your own worthless life.

LSU would GLADLY play at a neutral field.

I am sick of seeing LSU have another game cancelled two years in a row. Something needs to be in a place.

There must be a rule in place if a natural disaster is coming a neutral field must be planned for by a certain day as precaution.

PERIOD. I would rather ensure a game get played, then risk no game at all.. Too much on the line not to play the game.

Do you think maybe common sense took over and maybe someone else told them they need to cancel the game? You don't think a risk evaluator told them they would be stupid as shite to have people travel during a hurricane and could potentially be liable for millions of dollars in damages? How about moving the game? Now you really put people in peril because now you force them to travel to a game at the height of the storm surge. Real smart people you are.

Uh, no. Sankey finally bought a clue and said that it was unsafe to have the game, not your AD or coach. Unfortunately, because he failed by letting your athletic staff drag their collective asses for so long, there was no alternative other than cancel/postpone. It is extremely hypocritical that LSU fans have been questioning the sanity of the UF staff and fans while they were downplaying the effects of the storm and ridiculing the LSU fans until later this morning when the SEC stepped in and now UF fans are the ones crying how unsafe it is.

Your AD literally had the game scheduled in Gainesville at 11:00 a.m. as of early this afternoon.

LSU fans were saying all week to think big picture but all we did was get mocked and told we didn't understand, Florida doesn't flood, Florida knows how to handle hurricanes, weather would be great on GameDay, etc.

But it's LSU fans who are short sighted? Please

Check 2005.

Big swinging dick LSU moved the game to Monday like a fricking boss.

That's what men do.

Then there's the Florida Gators. . .

What's your point? Do you really want people to travel during a hurricane? Do you really want Florida fans to try and watch a football game when their houses may be in shambles?

That is the not the bullshite you assholes were saying just yesterday. All of the florida dipshits were saying LSU was scared to come to Florida due to a little wind and a sprinkle of rain. Now the fricking world is coming to end...make up your minds.

Rita was actually stronger storm than Katrina... just didn't hit aa major of a populated area... and to get your facts straight, Katrina also hit land as a Cat 3 as it downgraded right before hitting. Get facts straight

Matthew needs to spit a couple tornados out at Being Lil Bitches stadium. No home games for rest of year.

One good thing though, LSU can point to this and ask recruits if they want to be manly tigers or bitchy Lil gaytors
