No, you are embarrassing yourself. Your university and the state it is located in is staring down the barrel of a Category 4 hurricane and you come to start this thread.

FSU could have hosted the game. Probably could have done it in Tampa on Sunday. The shitty arse stadium in Birmingham could have been ready. Mobile could have been ready. A lot of options were probably on the table that would have gotten his players away from the hurricane and into safety too.

so you're saying the game was canceled bc UF wasn't excited about going to LSU? I thought this whole time it was about player safety, not knowing if they were going to be homeless, etc.

They don't even want to play is when it's sunny outside or the weather is perfect on a crisp fall night.

21-0 was a soul snatcher!

Roll Tide!

Well, in 2005, we moved a home game to ASU because of Katrina. Then, a couple of weeks later, we moved the UT game to Monday.

So, yeah, as we have proven, we'd do whatever we had to play the game.

So piss off.

2005 LSU moved Arizona State game because LSU was being used as a triage for hurricane victims

LSU would go to Tuscaloosa and Alabama would go to Baton Rouge to play if the situation was reversed. .

I have no doubt about what either of those programs would do.

Florida acted like a bunch of punks and clearly dug their heels in earlier in the week. It was either going to be in Gainesville or was not going to be played.

Pathetic.

Florida is scared and they are playing scared. They aren't winning the division anyway. Not like this.

LSU has shown they will gladly work it out to get their games played

Florida was clearly wanted a cancellation because the game does nothing for them

If I won the biggest lottery in the world I would buy a sky box for the game to watch regardless of the venue. Both sides negotiated and could not come an agreement to play the game. End of story no need to dwell on the conspiracy theories.

NO, but we'd go because we aren't ghey.

I'm sorry you weren't excited to come to BR. Or Anywhere.. or stay at home and play on Sunday or Monday.
You just need some prozac or something and the things that you used to enjoy doing will become enjoyable again.

Honest answer? There would be bitching but we would play. It's the SEC Game of the Year currently and Tuscaloosa is a cool place. No way in hell we miss that game.

Also
LSU Alabama would have agreed on a neutral site because we would be able to pack any venue they put us in.
