...would LSU and Alleva be so excited to go to Tuscaloosa?

THAT'S the ONLY apples-to-apples comparison

Stop bringing up ASU and So. Car.

Please...you're all embarrassing yourselves.

We wouldn't be happy but we would play the game. Guaranteed.

I would sit through the hurricane in Tiger Stadium.

It doesn't matter what anybody would be "excited" to do. Cool irrelevant post.

Excited? No. Still want to play the game because it matters? Yes.

We wouldn't be excited, but I guarantee you we wouldn't say "everything is FINE. let's just leave the game as is and not look for any other solution." then cancel the game when the obvious happened.

The game didn't have to be in Baton Rouge, but it doesn't appear like FLorida looked at any other neutral site options. Literally 4 hours ago the game was still on for an 11:00 a.m. kick in Gainesville.

Florida stalled, end of story.

Yes, because we don't have a losing record at Bryant-Denny and Bama is the daddy in Tiger Stadium.

No, but they'd also have found a neutral site and have the game. Unlike what Florida did.

I honestly think with the amount of time UF had, LSU vs. Bama could of agreed on a netural site.

They'd play the game.

Although if canceling it caused Bama to be ineligible for SECCG, I'd petition to cancel.

They wouldn't let Bama get a free home game.

Bet your arse... if Ogeron pulled a hissy fit like McElwian, the SEC would've told him to frick off and play the game in Bama or get kicked out of the conference

I guarantee you there is no LSU fan that would want the LSU/Bama game cancelled. It's the biggest football weekend of the year and every effort to make sure the game was played somewhere would've been made.

If nothing else was possible, then begrudgingly the game would've been moved to Bryant Denny.

We would not have be happy and bitched about it, but the game would've still happened.
