You guys actually gave a scholarship to a convicted child rapist- post conviction.

If you're referring to Daniel Hood, you have no idea what you're talking about, as usual.

Most of UFs arrests were petty save for the OL with a gun. Just like at UGA. Stfu eta: the only reason UF is brought up and not UGA is UF actually won something UGA can't in 30 +years.

What kind of sophomoric, contrived and plain ole' lame antics, will they will come up with?
Probably change uniforms to all pink, followed by copius fake and frenetic, jumping up and down , before the game and on their 1st field goal, proving once again, the phrase, "act like you've been there" only receives the response, "no comprende" from the team in Athens.

We had good ole Jamar Hornsby steal Joe Haden's dead girlfriend's credit card.

Sorry, he wasn't a rapist he just facilitated/watched the whole thing and then (and this is from court transcripts) showed little to no remorse.
Look I believe in redemption, but this wasn't a kid selling dime bags or running with a gang because his family was on welfare and he wanted to eat. He served his time, and if he'd wanted to walk on that would have been cool with me but the fact is a normal student who is caught with a joint in high school can't even apply for federal student loans and this guy (albeit as a 13 year old) was a participant in a heinous crime.

Link to said court transcripts? Liar.
Besides, he was incarcerated, and was a model citizen until Kiffin recruited, and Kiffin, YES KIFFIN, thoroughly vetted him before offering a scholarship.
You know what ended up being the deciding factor in Kiffin's decision to give the kid a chance?
The victim wrote UT a letter of recommendation on Hood's behalf.
Nobody is defending what he did, but to speak of it as if UT was somehow condoning what he did when he was 13 is fricking deplorable.

Shaft, you're getting shafted
And I'm watching
Does that make me Hood in this scenario?

How many players have arrested under richt? 70? 80? 100?
Posted on 10/28/15 at 5:22 pm to bigDgator
This quickly turned from Richts juvenile on the field antics to dick swinging about arrest records.
Congrats to UGA for changing the focus away from Richt.

So far, Lane Kiffin's numerous recruiting shenanigans have been adorably goofy and pointless, but his latest controversy is so serious and meaningful and worthy of mindful debate that I kind of prefer the other kind.
One of the players Kiffin is bringing to Tennessee next year is Daniel Hood, a 6-foot-5, 240-pound defensive end from Knoxville Catholic High. He is 19 years old, and a "model student on and off the field," with high grades and higher test scores. However, when Hood was 13 he was convicted of kidnapping and raping his 14-year-old cousin. His 17-year-old accomplice was tried as an adult and got 10 years in prison. Hood has been in the care of the state ever since.
From a Chris low Espn article.
quote:
Only 13 at the time, Hood didn't know how to react and stood there and watched in his bedroom as a 17-year-old friend, Robert Sanico, raped Hood's 14-year-old first cousin with a foreign object after she had been tied up with duct tape by both Sanico and Hood, according to the victim's testimony.

We only play dirty against dirty teams. It used to be FSU and Miami, but now includes Georgia since Richt has been there.
Don't forget eye gouging vs LSU this year..
