If we have to add, and it's all about markets, then the only two logical choices are Va Tech and NC State. They "fit" the best. NCSU becomes a natural rival for USC, and VPI and UTK can go at it.
But I'd prefer if we were done.

I agree with this, if we get a Va and NC school, I think it will be Va Tech and NC State. I don't think UNC and Duke would separate and the SEC would not take both.
For those who mention having two Mississippi schools, that was done before long before big TV money obviously. Different parameters today than when that was done.

With Texas/OU in the Big 12, I would be surprised, but anything can happen. I think the ACC is much more vulnerable to being poached, but I guess they now have that huge buyout to leave, so they are trying hard to save themselves..

KU could go B1G or PAC
Gee leaked the B1G was still interested in KU and MU
ESPN owns ACC and SEC and with Skipper and Slive in the top spots my guess is the ACC is much stronger than most think. Every ACC team that goes to the B1G means the Mouse loses content to FOX. Watch that Q&A with Skipper and Slive and read between the lines.

To all the kids with the smart mouths that responded I would like to sincerely apologize for not knowing there were other threads about the same subject. I am very sorry that I have a life outside of the internet and am not fortunate enough to get on this site once every few weeks, much less every single day. Haven't you all been taught any manners whatsoever in life? This is EXACTLY why our great nation is going down the crapper. Peace.

If Texas moves the Big12 is over, end of story. I think if that happens, TT/OU/OSU go with Texas to give them 16.
Then 3 the other major conferences will jump as well. In that scenario, I wonder if teams will leave the ACC for another conference? Other than Texas/OU there nothing worth taking from the big 12 for the SEC and we already have A&M to cover Texas.
