That being said, how many non-Arkansas SEC fans are rooting for Arkansas to win the CWS?

I'm tying my best to acclimate into the SEC way of thinking. However, I find it incredibly difficult to root for Arkansas. Why? I'm not sure.

I want to hate Arkansas. My DNA tells me that I must. I guess I'm having trouble rebooting my brain from the KU-type hatred and utter disgust that I was born with, into developing an understanding of a healthy and friendly rivalry.

At the moment, I'm 110 percent rooting against Arkansas. I hate that team. If anyone can help me come to grips with this, I'm open for suggestions. Is it bad to hate another SEC school like I hate Arkansas? Can you like a true rival? Can you ever truly root for a rival to succeed? I've been bred to believe the answer is 100 percent NO.

I may need help destroying my inner demons...

It'd be cool if Arky won. Generally speaking, SEC fans root for other SEC teams unless it's your rival. Unless they're playing Bama, I'll root for UK, MSU, UGA, UF, SCar, LSU, etc etc but never for AU or UT.

That's ok.

You know you're fricked when everybody likes your team. That means you suck.

Example, we all like Derrick Dooley at Tennessee.

Example, Missouri at all sports is almost like Ole Miss but they are on another level academically.

Fact of the matter is... Arkansas isn't really SEC. They have always had much more of a Big 12 feel to me.

ESPN had CLM on earlier and they said we were rivals.

At least you Missouri fans are learning to care about one college baseball team, because you sure as hell don't care about your own based on the shithole stadium, pathetic attendance numbers, pitiful on-field performance and tiny budget

I'm not. It in no way helps UGA so I'm against it. Before 2 years ago, UGA could make the claim that they were the only SEC school besides LSU to win a CWS title. As of today, not only has SC won one as well but now has 1 more than us to boot.

IDGAF if they're in the SEC, I don't want any SEC team to win the CWS. Or any national title in any sport for that matter, if it's not UGA.
