I know enough that if the Aggies play you, the Buckeyes will take a curbstomping they will long remember.

Now that's funny. You might want to take a look at how Texas A&M has fared when they play Ohio State.

Hint: it isn't pretty.

Destroyed by NCAA sanctions? Revisionist history much? Michigan State was on probation for four years and lost 9 scholarships. They certainly weren't destroyed by sanctions. Now SMU? They were destroyed by their sanctions and Penn State and USC were hit very hard.

He can coach, and he can win. If he will beat Saban again is to be determined, but he's beaten all the other good teams

He can coach. He CAN win.....when he is coaching a SEC team. And even then he would have to coach a select group of teams. (LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, MAYBE SouCar)

He will have to have an established team. I don't see him taking a weak team like Kentucky (Sorry, Kentucky fans) and turning them into a power. While Ohio State is an established team...I think the SEC has already established that they cannot beat the best in the SEC. (Read: those same teams mentioned above when in a regular year)

You guys DO seem to have the ability to take highly rated teams and run them out of the stadium.

The man is an amazing recruiter. He's pulled a lot more than just Mitchell from the evil clutches of the SEC. Dontre Wilson, Vonn Bell, Ezekial Elliot, Joey Bosa and others were highly sought after by more than one SEC team.

He does do a good job recruiting. Always has. But until he manages a win for Ohio State against a top tier SEC school, he and Ohio State will remain footnotes. Many people pick Ohio State to play Alabama for the Natty in the coming year. IF this happens and Alabama cleans your plate again, you might not EVER get another shot at the Natty against a SEC school 3 strikes and you are out.

I think he can build, but has problems maintaining. He has said that it is more fun to him to build a champion than keep a champion

How bad is Ohio State that they have to be rebuilt?
