They gave up 28 points to UGA (should have been 35) and both Aaron Murray and Mettenberger threw the ball all over their secondary. Think Bama has already been "exposed" as not having a top-flight defense. That o-line is the best I've seen in many years though. Which is the primary reason they win, IMO.

Bama's D is nowhere near the level of 2009 or 2011. We will all agree with you on that.

That already happened at the Krystals last year.

Yes, but Golson = Manziel (source: Lou Holtz)

21, but ya, the D is not the level it has been.

Did OP say we didn't play anyone in 09?

We played the hardest schedule in the country.

Not all dual threat QBs are the same.

And something tells me with 7 weeks to prepare, Saban has watched enough film on Golson and Manziel that he could tell you how many freckles and moles they have.

Lou is a blind homer, but Golson is more like JF than Murray.

Yes, and an Astan Martin Vanquish soft top is the same as a LeBaron because they're both convertibles.

If Bama's offense struggles, I could see a Utah type game coming.

ND is not known for their offense fwiw. so if bama offense struggles, it's not like ND will put up 400 yard of offense either.

ND can control the ball and play very efficiently. Their defense is good enough to cause Bama some problems.

Manziel has passed for 1000 more yards than Golson has accounted for in total. The fact that both are kind of small and can run is about where the similarities end.

Didn't say that, Forrest. Read again, this time actually think while doing so.
