So funny to watch Auburn fans defend their performance in this game.

Our defense played badly, I don't think any Auburn fan has said otherwise.

Most have said it was just because of Spurrier. Players still gotta stop it.

Looking forward to WVU v Kstate. I bet if wvu wins, auburn fans will come in here and say they won only because they were playing at Morgantown, not because wvu is better.

Also yall were lucky to beat k-state.

Kind of how bama fans defended beating an SEC team, by one point, that hasn't won an SEC game in two years?

Yes. Precisely like that. Those of us who defended that game were called on our shite too.

Not in the least - no even a little bit.

Just lulzing at some of the Aubie fricks, (prior to my response), claiming SCAR was playing over their heads, when, in fact, SCAR is probably averaging more pts on the road than anyone else in the league.

SCAR did not lose that game because of their offense ... their defense sucks donkey balls. But Auburn's defense is almost as bad. So any Auburn fan that comes out of that game thinking Spurrier was lucky or they are a vastly superior team to SCAR is just kidding themselves. A good offensive team, (which SCAR is), with even a smidgen of a decent defense, (which SCAR does not have), beats Auburn every time and that's just the cold hard facts about both teams this year.

So this superior holier than thou bullshite a few fricktards responded with prior to me finally joining-in the thread .... yeah, lulz, Auburn is overrated. Ain't mad ... just truthful.

And if KState wins, I take it you will finally shut up?

If they win then I will acknowledge that they are the better team.

You will not get an agenda from me.

There were some key moments when Auburn messed up. On one occasion we either stopped them on 3rd or 4th, but we gave away a face mask in the process. USCe ended up scoring later on the drive to tie the game.

NM played like a professional. Without his level of play, I don't know if we'd win that one. He can ball, and I don't know why he isn't in the Heisman discussion. He's a pro at running one of the more complex offenses in CFB.

No they haven't. Any more lies you want to try and argue as a point?

Auburn scored TD's on 6 straight possessions.

South Carolina knew their D was garbage and as such went for every 4th down the whole night just about.

Agreed. Never said otherwise.

Happy to see Blake Sims improving on the road.

Auburn punted twice on the first and last possessions of the game. Our offense was unstoppable. We ran all the frick over them.

Spurrier won the matchup against Ellis. No doubt about it. Our front 7 gets ZERO pressure on the QB. We stop the run and that will keep us in the game.

Game ended 42-35, along the way every score was answered by either team, none getting up > 7.

The game on offense went well for Auburn. Drive chart for them was Punt, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, TD, Punt. The drives were all greater than 75 yards and one for 93. 395 yards rushing and 551 yards total.

The Auburn defense held SC to 119 yards on the ground. The Auburn pass defense had 3 INTs and they held SC to below 43% in 3rd down conversions.

Dylan Thompson was on fire. So was Spurrier. Thompson threw 50 times, completed 56%, threw 5 TDs and was 5/6 on 4th down conversions. Spurrier threw in a surprise onside kick and it worked.

Last drive Auburn moved the ball and had a chance to ice it, went slippery derp on the field, punted, was going to hold SC down to their side of the field for the last play but a personal foul hands to the facemask got them to the Auburn 41 for a hail marry.

Then Auburn put two players on the field with the same number, it completely confused SC, Thompson couldn't tell what to do and therefore threw an INT. The fans then ran on the field like they've never beat anyone before and the refs had to run for their lives. One was killed. Everyone knew there was two #1s but by that point nobody could stop the fans and the game was called.

Spurrier did an excellent job. He had a vastly inferior team on the road and was in it the whole way up till the end, because he played with reckless abandon.

Underdogs should play far more aggressively than they typically do to give themselves a chance.

Original reply was to Kodar. Other threads and places I reviewed the game had the same slant as Kodar.

I am just drawing parallels to
Other fanbases/critics calling bama overrated for losing the Ole
Miss game in the 4th quarter and for a sloppy performance at Arkansas.

Yall lost to MSU by two plus scores. Should have lost to Kstate. Looked like crap at home against USC. (Lucky for you USC defense is bad)

Not really. Did you watch our game instead of the Bama game?
