Robb fell on the sword on that one. It was a fine call but Ramirez was out of place. He was supposed to be playing over the top of Greenlaw and not the boundary.

Is he a LB? Sometimes they got to cover the inside slot guy, and he would have been in position had he not quit running.

Yeah he's LB. Both of the players that fricked up on that play were freshmen making their first starts ever. Terrible time to have a busted play.

It was a freshman linebacker in man coverage against one the top 3-4 receivers in the SEC. He didnt have a chance and you cant get mad at him. He was on Reynolds because of mistake caused by A&M running our back out wide. Instead of having the LB shift out to cover our slow RB, the corner shifted outside and left a linebacker on an elite receiver. It didnt help that the Arkansas safety didnt recognize it and cover over top of Reynolds.

It was good coaching by Spav and poor recognition by the Arkansas defense.

It appeared he did have a chance, but he just quit running.

He had no chance to make a play on a deep ball in the air against a great receiver much taller than him. It wouldnt have mattered if he kept running or not.

Yeah he could have made a play if he didn't inexplicably stop running. It looked like he couldn't figure out if he was supposed to be in zone or man.

Greenlaw is a S being turned in to an OLB so him being matched up against Reynolds wasn't a huge issue like it would have been if it was Ellis on Reynolds. That would just be ugly.

Yep. Should have used another TO on that play though. Obviously they didn't know what they were supposed to be doing
