and I am at a loss as to what the safety was doing on that play. Never seen anything like it. What an idiot. Can anyone tell me why?

The best receiver in the SEC caught a pass from the best QB in the SEC.

Looked like the backer ran over to cover an uncovered WR with his hands out to his sides saying "WTF?" and the predictable outcome was...well..predictable.

The thread isn't about Auburn.

Even with safety help, he quit running with the WR AFTER the ball was in the air.

he wasnt a safety. unless youre talking about the safety who was late in getting over. it was all about the formation we used

Great scheme by our OC. Pig burned two timeouts when we showed that look.

lol. we have perfected the big pass play 4th quarter choke. It wasn't something A&M did. We're just mentally weak in crunch time

What made the look so special?

I'm assuming they are referring to the fact that they moved their X in to the slot. Not really anything ground breaking there though.

The cliff notes is that there was some good offensive scheming in this game by the Aggie OC.

Hogs unable to process what to do with RB lined up all the way on the outside of the five wide formation.

Aggies also exploited Arky with something new in the OT TD pass to Kirk.

We kept Carson in on a 5 wr look and split him out wide. So the CB was on our RB in man and their LB had to come over and guard Reynolds in the slot.

We ran this right after a traditional set so Arky didn't have a chance to sub in more appropriate personnel.

And I agree it wasn't gtoundbreaking, but I forcing two timeouts and A big play based on set is pretty good.

Is he a LB? Sometimes they got to cover the inside slot guy, and he would have been in position had he not quit running.
