the SECN hired PF to do?
Bring a whole new show? They bought the Finebaum show as is.
Now, will it stay like it is forever? Who knows.
They'll probably have to fire him.
But, the format is what it is.
It sells. Football aficionados don't like
the PF show, but that's not who the PF show aims for.

Any sports talk show that is caller driven will always suck. I don't care if the show is in Alabama or New York.

I can't say that I've ever really listened to the Finebaum show before now but damn the quality of call-ins are just terrible.
I noticed earlier when some Auburn fan called in that they had Wiilie's twitter handle and picture up. Do these guys seriously call in that often that Paul knows them?

It's the regular group that he let's talk everyday that trash up his show. Nobody outside of that group gives a shite about them, what so and so said about them, how loud they can talk and mouth breath at the same time and etc. If he wants to keep that schtick going then he needs to do it on a separate show localised to some backwards arse shite town where they can all spit beechnut in each others eyes.
Turn the Chanel when he airs them is all I can do and stop listening.
I do like his interviews with CFB guest.

I agree, having the Jerry Springer show hurts the SEC's image.
It just reinforces the stereotype of backwoods ignorant rednecks in the South because that's who he chooses to take calls from.
Is it entertaining? Yes, but not good overall PR for the league.

The fact that Finebaum show has a graphic that shows"phoner feud: Dumbass vs Dipshit" is an embarassment for the SECN.
Whoever is in charge needs to tell Finebaum to drop this shite with the callers.
