I think it's frickin' hilarious listening to how serious these losers take college football,it's all they have.

Do y'all ever feel like these callers aren't real?

Obviously Texas A&M fan still does not know how seriously people in this part of the country can take college football. Even if some of the callers are playing a role, there are actually people out there who feel just like what they're spewing out of their mouth.

That's right. One should remember that this is a state and an environment in which people have committed murder because a team lost a game.

Finebaum ought to go back to being a rural radio Jerry Springer.
Need to get someone on who can be a good representative to the rest of the nation for SEC football.

I've never heard a second of it.
Don't think it's broadcasted in College Station and/or Houston, TX.

I could be wrong, but I believe that ESPN hired him to do his show because it became popular on SiriusXM nationwide. I'm sure that popularity is due to people outside the southeast laughing at his retarded callers. It makes them feel better about themselves if they can imagine the entire SE is just like the people who call in. It's a sad show that preys on the same sort of "fascination" that Jerry Springer got rich off of.
The saddest thing about that show is how his "regular callers" feel a sense of celebrity from daily calling his show.

Exactly. Those idiots argue over which one of them is the best caller. The losers really believe that they are celebrities. Straight Jacket Jim brags all of the time about how great a caller he is and what he brings to the show. Demented minds. They base their self worth on this. Sad.

Overheard that idiot Legend calling in railing about how great Bama is how everyone else sucks
They should have cut this guy off, and blocked his number.

It will do alright to begin with, but the callers are a novelty act. It gets old hearing people yell about how great their team is because they work hard or whatever. Most don't really know anything about football, and Pawl reminds me of Kornheiser on MNF. Strength of the show is the guests, and PF has a lot of good connections in college football from being around for so long.
My question is how will they keep it going from Feb - July?
And Jim thinks he's the co-host. "Since I've been doing this show with you Pawwwl...."

I find it hilarious how the people of THIS site bitch about Finebaum and his act. Any thread here that tries to seriously discuss football goes 3-4 posts, but a "troll" thread will run for 10 pages.
I mean really, what if folks from around the country came to the SEC rant to get a gauge on SEC fans, what would they think ? Something about a pot and a kettle comes to mind.

Completely agree. This trolling shite gets so old. If you get your rocks off from pissing people off on the web, then you need to find a new hobby. Suggestions: exercise, home improvement, learn how to play an instrument, softball league, hunting, fishing, bbq, arts and crafts, etc...

How would the show be if Howard Stern got to do it for a week?

Finebaum is a genius though in how he's built his brand. He knows SEC fans are very emotional and easy to stir up.

Offseason guest hosts would be great, but the callers would quit within a few days. Except if it were clowns like Danny Kanell

A friend in L.A. called to say the bigger radio sports talk shows out there were running tapes of PF's worst callers, re-cycling them every hour practically. The intent being to present the sterotype of SEC/Southern football fans as stated previously..."backwoods ignorant rednecks ". This is horrible PR for the conference & its/our fans.
