don’t think Harsin’s UW teams would fare very well in the SEC given how Michigan made them look

Well LsU certainly wouldn’t have stopped them. We will see how he pans out. I think it was an excellent hire but we will see.

The emotional scars left by NS remain. Nobody cares who is committing to Bama in March outside of the recruiting board

I suppose Harsin will be raiding Louisiana and Georgia for their top recruits and flipping the top recruits of their classes, right?

What other knee-jerk dipshit narratives did I forget?
I really think we aught to throw in a few of the reactions to Coach Saban's hire at Bama.
>> Saban will never recruit at the level he recruited at LSU.
>> Saban will never stay; he'll move to the next place in a few of years.
>> Saban will never win at the level he won at LSU.
>> Saban >> over-signing
>> Saban >> medical redshirts
>> Saban will never play a black quarterback.
>> Saban is all about money, he'll leave in a heartbeat.
>> Saban will never love Alabama.
>> Saban will never offer 4 year guaranteed scholarships.
>> Saban processes players.

In Harsin's case, recruiting should be easy given he's inheriting a program on top. His trajectory isn't going to be like someone inheriting a program that was in free fall or already a dumpster fire.

I don't think our fan base, or the UA Administration expects CKD to sustain the current status quo of the program, that would be a near impossible task considering his predecessor is the best in college football. But if he is willing to work tirelessly and utilizes Coach Saban's knowledge while implementing his own processes, he will do well.

Why would our record on the season necessitate me bumping this thread about recruiting?

I'm sure I'll be bumping this thread, but not because we had a disappointing season.

They just need a win so badly bruh. Maybe this thread will finally be what they've been waiting on for 17 years.

Maybe.

I thought it was still too early to make any conclusions?

It's not too early to say he'll have a better class than Auburn this year, next year, whenever.

Why would this had been a narrative when Saban was hired at Alabama?

He'd already played numerous black quarterbacks.

Bama logic

It doesn’t count until ALL of Saban’s guys are gone.

Get back with us in a few years

Ohhhh…

That’s good to know. I assume you posted this sentiment in the dozens of threads about Bama’s 2025 recruiting class from back in January and February.

Thanks.
