Has now moved BAMA into the top 5 in recruiting after securing a commitment from the #2 athlete in the country, Darrell "Duke" Johnson. Not bad for a guy who "can't recruit".

Husky Harsin looking a lot more like Seattle Saban on the recruiting trail than the rivals would like to see.

I guess that depends… I don’t think Harsin’s UW teams would fare very well in the SEC given how Michigan made them look. If your standards are top of the PAC, you guys will be set.

Reality - Took less than 48 hours to secure one of the top coaches in the country. Deal was likely in the works for a while before Saban announced.
Rantards - He can't recruit!
Reality - Top 5 class and climbing a couple of months into the job, while also keeping one of the highest rated recruits ever in Ryan Williams.
Rantards - He ain't got no southern ties!
Reality - Hires a solid staff with plenty of ties to the south.

But, but Bama never won shite without Saban. Bama is nothing without Saban, Deboer only won with Petersons recruits (except for, you know, getting guys like Michael Penix), blah, blah and blah, blah. Now, the rumor is Caleb Downs may be returning after collecting his check at tOSU.
I don't think in their hearts all Bama haters REALLY believed the program would tank out recruiting wise. I saw one idiot that said Bama would recruit at Ms States level going forward.

He's playing with Alabama talent now, not Washington talent. You're in denial. Alabama is going nowhere, and deep down you know it.

It was 20-13 in the 4th quarter. Penix badly missed some wide open receivers that could've walked in for TD's. Not exactly the coach's fault.
