This is funny seeing as freeze beat chizik by 21points last year with a lot less talented team, with no depth, with 57 scholarship players, and was made up of mostly sophmores and freshmen.

Freeze also had a winning collegiate record when he took the job at ole miss, unlike chizik 5-19, no comparison, just wishful thinking on your part. Let the rebel obsession continue

Will anyone really be shocked if Ole Miss gets smacked around with the NCAA hammer of justice in a couple of years from now? I remember thinking the same thing when Chizik came in as a 5-19 guy and suddenly they were picking up 5 stars who otherwise had no intention of ever attending Auburn.

1. AU was cleared and didn't get even a nudge from the NCAA.
2. Since when can't AU ever recruit?

I don't think Freeze is cheating. Not because he's morally incapable but because he doesn't view his current job as a stepping stone. For what it's worth, being head coach in Oxford is his dream job and if he can win consistently 8-10 games a year, he'll be there until Ole Miss asks him to retire. I could be wrong but I don't think if you're him, with not a whole lot of pressure on him right now you wouldn't screw your dream job up by cheating in your first full year of recruiting.

Might be the best way to get something started as a HC in the SEC. Pay like hell for your first 2-3 classes then stop paying before you get caught and hope you can live off your reputation after that. Could be what he's doing.
