The other day I was thinking about how Ole Miss is kind of like the new Arkansas. Arkansas a few years ago under Nutt was never good enough to win it all but they sure would screw it up for other teams.

In fairness, he lost to Arky on a fluke play. If I was an Ole Miss fan, the only game I'd really be pissed about is the Memphis game.

Lots of people are overreacting. We lost a shootout. As bad as the defense played the offense played incredible. Allen played flawless. Tip your hat and move on. It's football. Underdogs win sometimes.

That's a definite possibility considering the type of numbers he's putting up. The offense will be serviceable even with the loss of Treadwell/Walton/Core but the defense will be completely depleted. Chad has no real connection to Ole Miss. Freeze promised him a chance to be nationally relevant and we're staring down a Music City Bowl against NC State. I'd wish him the best if he left and really think making the choice to do so is in his best interest. He's got the skill set to go in the 3rd round if he does well at the combine
