You've experienced conference titles, national championships and all that comes with that.
Does it look like we'll be beating Saban going forward? All that shite you mentioned is in the rearview mirror.

Cotton Bowl sounds great.
Freeze has Ole Miss in great shape.

If Kelly leaves Ole Miss will go 5-7 next year. Year 5 and not making a bowl game. You're right. Great shape

just feel sorry for the Ole Miss boosters that ponied up the hundred of thousands of $$$'s to buy the recruits for the trip to Atlanta.
They're the ones that really need some comforting right now.
What about all the rich alumni that convinced their sorority daughters to defile their bodies and use them to entice the star recruits to sign. How can they look them in the eye now?

Go ahead and just become a Bama fan. You are 9/10's of the way there already.

Hugh Freeze is a much better coach but if he happens to throw Dave Wommack under the bus and replaces him with Reggie Herring, it might not be a good sign.

He shouldn't be a SEC head coach and wouldn't have been if it wasn't for that god damned Michael Oher movie.
I'm glad to see an Ole Miss fan admit this. Fresus is a joke.
And that movie seems to have turned out bad for everyone except the Tahooeys

Hugh Freeze is 2-1 against Nick Saban. Give him more talent, something incredibly hard to accomplish at Ole Miss, and he could win it all.

Woooooo this is good too!!!!

Wommack was at USM when I was in school. Surprised he is even still coaching.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but you need to also realize that Ole Miss will finish last next in the SEC West behind a very average MSU team.
Next season will be very difficult for Ole Miss fans. The final nail of the WAOM mantra will be Hugh Freeze doesn't get fired, but comes back for 2017 and finishes last again.
Feel free to book mark this post if you like.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

First off you are obviously a troll. Nice 7th post.
Second. Hugh Freeze is the best thing to happen at Ole Miss in decades and anyone who doesn't see that is a moron. Yes, we have good players. Yes, we pay coaches lotta money. But so does everyone else. Every game we walk into we have a legit chance to win and that has not often been the case.

Houston Nutt went 7-5 with McFadden, Jones and Hillis

Michael Oher had everything to do with Freeze getting hired

He's been around a long time and I always thought he was a pretty good coach but Houston Nutt used him as a scapegoat.

..Except Nutt actually won the West a handful of times, something Hugh will never accomplish. The similarities are there - retarded play calling, deflecting blame and placing it on any and everyone else, throwing players under the bus, the slimy southerner used car salesman lingo, etc. I would actually prefer Nutt. He was a complete psychopath with thugged out teams, but damn the man was funny. His press conferences were second to none. Freeze just finds a way to somehow relate Ole Miss football to some bible passage and it comes off as cultish and weird. Nutt would throw pIzza parties and have cake, whack-a-mole, etc.
Hugh Freeze has just sucked the joy out of college football for me. He's about to go 7-5 with 4 first round picks and multiple others that will make a roster. He shouldn't be a SEC head coach and wouldn't have been if it wasn't for that god damned Michael Oher movie. Man, I hate the Tuohy's. I'm just ranting at this point. Ole Miss will suck for eternity.
If 4th and 25 never happens you don't make this post, which renders it ridiculous. Freeze has brought Ole Miss to fringe national relevancy from the ashes of a complete shitshow in the most competitive division in sports. When Nutt was coaching, the SEC West wasn't nearly that beast that it is now.
Some rational criticisms are fair. Nepotism in coaching staff, terrible in-game coaching decisions, dumb social media interaction, and recruiting failures at key positions like RB, OL, and LB. Whether via coaching or recruiting, Ole Miss has failed to develop the depth required to survive the grind of a SEC West season. An assistant coaching shakeup needs to happen for Ole Miss to become a deeper team.
Let's just be honest tho - until Saban leaves, all other schools in the SEC West are essentially fricked every year barring a cyclical low-point from Bama.
