That's funny, I was just about to post that Bert was Hootie with less hair, more gut and a hotter wife.

Not long ago, it was pretty much the dream of every other school in the SECW that Nutt could somehow be heppin' pipple at Arky and on the Plantation at the same time. This is close enough.

And before you bottomfeeders start with the "54-46" and "27-19" posts, it might help to remember both your NeoNutts are 1-2 against Gustav.

He is about to go 7-5 with the most talented team since the 1960's but you keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel any better. Hugh Freeze is the sports enthusiast dad that runs double reverses at his 11year old sons flag football games, yet this man was handed the reigns to a SEC program and makes 4 million a year

Nutt won the west when his best competition was Tommy Tubberville.

To be fair, I bet Diana Nutt was pretty hot in her mid 30's. I would still hit it

Diffrence between Bert and Freeze is Bert is building a program and Freeze is renting players

Said this after the Bama game. Hootie would knock off Bama or the like and lose to Vandy the next week, classic rah rah coach.

Probably. She tanned herself into leather, though.

Bert will never beat Bama/LSU consistently. Playing same style with less talent. Like having a Jv team playing Varsity teams and they know what the other teams plays are. Great recepie for a consistent program but not one that has higher aspirations that 9-10 wins. Freeze has the same limitations but for a different reason.

When you resort to name calling then you have already lost the argument

Pointing out the clearly obvious is not name calling.

We'll agree to disagree. You keep falling for all of this rah rah and recruiting championships. They're clearly showing major dividends

I'd be willing to be that Dustin Johnson and Grovewater both came from ED or are the same person trolling.

Re the comment bout Kelly leaving. Is that a realistic possibility? Why would he leave with only 1 yr of real college football experience? How many seniors & juniors are expected to/will possibly leave after this season? And one thing to consider re Freeze's record: as a long time observer of SEC football, one thing is consistently true: it takes depth across the board before a team is more than a one season wonder. Look at the aggies. Sumlin is still trying to build depth & with all the talent in the world, similar to Freeze's, he's stuck in the same 3-4 loss rut as well.

I am one of, if not the biggest Ole Miss fan on this message board. Why is it that when someone doesn't agree with the rest of you "look on the bright side" lunatics that they are immediately cast out as an alter? Grovewater had one of the best posts (even though it was an obvious ripoff of this one) regarding the state of Ole Miss that I've ever seen, yet he's constantly getting berated for it.

You guys are terrible
