I would agree that this is a very important game for Dooley and UT as well as Richt and Georgia in that it's a milestone game for both. UGA is coming in with momentum, giving all the appearance that it has regrouped and now has the ability to control its' destiny in the East. On the other side, UT needs a big statement win to demonstrate the program has finally turned the corner and is headed in the right direction. In my opinion, if UGA loses Richt is gone and the program will be in full rebuilding mode while Dooley will have shaken off the "unproven" moniker, excite the fan base and generate a tremendous amount of momentum to push through the rest of the season. On the flip side, if UGA wins, Richt has a clear shot to the SECCG and takes his head off the chopping block while Dooley's job gets ten times harder both on and off the field.

I think it's a huge game for both in my opinion.

Haven't the last 2 games for UGA in Knoxville been Tennessee blowout victories

Yes, and last year the Dawgs blew out UT in Athens 41-14. Then again Bray didn't start that game and Murray played one of his best games.

I usually talk a lot of shite during the UGA week. but with Justin Hunter injured, I'm not so confident. I think UGA has a better team but game could go either way.

Concur - gonna come down to who makes fewer mistakes, Bray or Murray. Murray's been making his share lately for sure.

UGA is better than Tennessee overall imo, but Bray has been quite a bit sharper than Murray this season. Bray will get his yards and touchdowns. The key will be Tennessee's defense, which is not nearly as talented as UGA's.

They're favorites by default because of their schedule.

IMO both teams are equal. If I had to be my life on this game I would pick us only because its at home and at night. Im really glad this game is at home this year instead of in Athens.

2 muffed punts killed us last year at the beginning of the game. We got manhandled after. Our special teams have given up 2 blocked punts, fumbled a kickoff, and sub par kicking. It may come down to special teams, and it doesn't give me a good feeling

UGA has had the better team the last two times they came to Knoxville, but got killed both times.

For some richtson, they underperform.

It's not, but at least next year we don't play LSU and get Arky and Bama at home
