I remember Nolan walking out one time when we got behind after being shafted by some (Texas?) refs and then returning after we tied it up to go in overtime. Said he had to use the bathroom!

Well in football they beat us at Neyland when we were ranked in the top 5, but only went 3-7-1. They lost to the Citadel, I'm to young to remember but sounds like a pretty odd season

That 3 point shot by Mayberry to send it into overtime was clutch!

Arkansas vs. Tennessee 1992 @3:52 mark
I watched this game with a Volunteer friend. He had been giving me crap all week and then this happened...

After the game, interim coach Joe Kines gave one of his more classic interviews. I wish I had the video. Said something about David and Goliath ...we used (something like) "all 3 stones from the brook" ...

Yea, that's who I was thinking of. And they got into it towards the end of regulation. Pretty sure O fouled the shite out of Shaq and he got pissed.

I don't remember the lights going out though. Did that happen?

He means it was the last game in Barnhill. I think that's the wrong year, but I'm not sure.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. I don't recall the lights going out for that game, but I do remember Shaq not scoring for like the final 10+ minutes in regulation becuase we collapsed 2-3 defenders on him.

Solid on the link.

ETA: that wasn't the Shaq game.

ETA2: fricking Mo Williamson. My favorite player.

Would've ended up Johnson v. Roosevelt Wallace. I'd put my money on "Rosie".

I had almost forgotten about Wallace. What a lineup that year!

Isn't that the game where Dale Brown came back out and asked to speak to the Arkansas fans?
