I don't disagree.
The way they have it set up is kind of a two game step system. You go to one venue and play 2 games in two days and if you win, you move up to the next venue.
So the 3 big levels are:
Making the dance - 1st venue
Sweet Sixteen - 2nd venue
Final Four - 3rd venue
Obviously the mathematical part of it is 6 levels, with the field shrinking in half each level. But you only celebrate winning the 1st round for 1 day then you have to play again, same with the 3rd and 5th rounds. The 2nd, 4th and 6th round wins get to sink in.

That is kind of the same in football and baseball. Everyone is way behind and it will be a long, long time before anyone catches up, if ever.

Yeah a 2 point jump from 10 to 12 makes no sense to go from F4 to title game when there's a 5 point jump from 5 to 10 to go from E8 to F4. Basically no value in winning your F4 game there
Should be 10-15-20 or 10-15-25 or something like that. Gaining 5 points to win a E8 game then only 2 points for winning a F4 seems silly

It honestly doesn’t matter. If it bothers you so much make a post with your scoring system. Not that it would matter though. People would still argue over how it isn’t a good scoring system.
