How SEC Programs Rank in the Modern Era of Basketball

Since the NCAA Tourney expanded to 64 teams in 1985:
Season Ending in each round gets the below points:
1st Round: 1 point
2nd Round: 1.5 points
Sweet 16: 3 points
Elite 8: 5 points
Final Four: 10 points
Runner-Up: 12 points
National Title: 25 points
SEC Program Rankings:
1. Kentucky- 200.5
2. Florida- 120.0
3. Arkansas- 87.5
4. Oklahoma- 79.5
5. Texas- 66.0
6. LSU- 46.0
7. Alabama- 38.0
8. Tennessee- 36.0
9. Auburn- 34.0
10. Missouri- 33.5
11. Miss State- 25.0
12. Vanderbilt- 21.5
13. Texas A&M- 19.0
14. South Carolina- 15.0
15. Georgia- 14.0
16. Ole Miss- 11.0
*2024 1st round points already awarded to teams that made the field.

Seems kind of low to only get 12 points for making the championship game but losing

Just a quick note: Arkansas has more NCAA tournament appearances, Sweet 16s, Elite 8s, and Final Fours than Florida all-time.
The post-Nolan Richardson years of Stan Heath, John Pelphrey, and Mike Anderson years really hurt Arkansas basketball.

The scaling from going from Final Four to actual NC game seems low. Why do it like that?

How many SEC teams have gone to the final and lost? That Arkansas team that lost to UCLA and the O'Bannion brothers is the only one I can think of.

Y'all have one more F4 (6 to 5) but I'll take the extra title. And all of our F4s are in the 64 team era where we had to win at least 4 games.
