Ok, fine. Bama had more rushing yards.

It's better when you don't try so hard.

Sabah would have OM in the CFB Playoff within his first 4 years.

And when was the last time Auburn beat a top 10 team? Mizzou in 2013? I'd say since then both programs have been trending in different directions.

Ole Miss can't afford high caliber recruits and Nick Saban at the same time.

Next to nothing, similar to the number of times he's said roll tide.

5 years. It's been proven you can buy elite talent at Ole Miss and no one cares. Just need the coach to get us there.

FIFY

Y'all don't need saban.

I guess there is a reason no one cares though: 0 hardware of any kind since the split in 92

He brought in top classes at LSU as well. Now now lttle brother quit making excuses. Gus a better coach than Saban? Don't know how you came to that delusion.

i wouldn't even trade freeze for Saban.

Saban is running out of time, and freeze has the up and coming feel. Freeze recruits at a high level much like Saban.

And our DC is comparable to sabans defensive prowess.

But with freeze we have longevity. And time

I almost made a post a few days back asking if you would trade your coach for Saban ... I'm sure that's been done previously.

And quite a few sec teams would.... But Ole miss would not be one, IMO

I love the ole miss trajectory and doing it with a Mississippi Man.

Arkansas - Never. Coaching graveyard. They've had multiple NC coaches that could only manage to be mediocre there

Auburn - this year

Florida - 2 years. Just needs to recruit offensive skill players

Georgia - this year

Kentucky - 4 years to get them to a BCS level bowl, even Bear couldn't win one there

LSU - 3 years. Even Saban couldn't win it all with that QB situation

Ole Miss - 4 years

Mississippi State - I don't see it. He could likely have them as a 10 win caliber team starting this year, but I can't ever see MSU getting over the hump.

Missouri - 4 years. He could lock down that state and get the players that Meyer is getting at OSU now

South Carolina - 4 years

Tennessee - 2016 or 2017

Texas A&M - 3-4 years, if ever. I don't see the defensive talent currently on the roster. Once again, not even Bear could win one there so I'm not sure anybody ever will... only Texas team in the SEC and nobody knowing how they will ultimately fare here is the only reason I'm considering it..

Vanderbilt - never. But in 4-5 years he could turn Vandy into the Stanford of the South and having them in BCS caliber bowls and maybe even make the SECCG.

What he's done with the abysmal mess we had post Nutt is amazing. Kicking our good ole buddy AD out was a main component as well. But the program is on the rise. What he's done in such a short time.. It's astonishing.

I try to be impartial in my thoughts, like to analyze situations and be self critical but it's hard to have doubts in his methods.

The only two universities I see maybe not trading for Saban...

Would be auburn Malzahn... And maybe you guys with Bielema. But maybe you aren't as confident in him or have less confidence in his trajectory.

His "old school dinosaur" ways are different and seem to have found a niche

I think the landscape of college football has changed. They have created offensive rules to prohibit defensive minded coaches from being as dominant as Saban used to be. That said i think the Mississpippi schools have too many disadvantages to win a national title. Auburn is capable but Gus getting lucky enough to get into a title game but lose and then finishing the next season at nearly 500 with nearly his entire team returning along with his starting QB and shitting the bed certainly didn't elevate him in many eyes.
