How quickly would it take Saban to win a national championship at your school?

I legit believe he could win one at Vanderbilt in 5-6 and at MSU within 3-4.

Discuss.

It only took Meyer 2 years, so with Saban I'd say 3 maybe 4 at most.

We all know what Saban does when times get tough. So do us a favor and stop snorting lines off that Saban cock.

Did you just compare mid-90s Michigan State to Nebraska currently?

Nick Saban is out of his prime to be honest. The heigh of his coaching was when he was a stubborn cock bag.

5 years. It's been proven you can recruit elite talent to Ole Miss. Just need the coach to get us there.

Dunno. Gus is a better coach than saban. Saban had the state of Louisiana on lock down and no instate rivals there so he built a talent advantage. AU has to contend with more committed boosters paying more and a high school system with a lot of people suckling at the money teet with bama boosters, so I'm not sure he could recruit at the same level as he has at bama.

So, saban might be a downgrade from Gus at AU. Probably would be actually. Gus was 1 play away from a national title and has been at AU for 2 years so far.

Really hard to say. Saban has never won much without superior talent so dunno.

We don't have the money machine that Alabama and LSU have. Apparently, Michigan State didn't either. Not sure he would do much better than Darn Merlins. But, we will never know because it can't possibly happen.

I don't think he would do as well as Merlins actually.

Mullen does more with less than any coach in the league. And I personally think he is the best pure play caller in the league.

You haven't watched many State games over the last 5 years then. Him and Freeze are the same. They have flashes of brilliance and then they call something retarded that costs them a game.

He is growing tired. You can tell. The amount of effort he has to put in to have elite teams every year has to be exhausting. I don't think he would have the energy to go to another program.

All coaches do. Mullens has been a really good play caller for a long time.

Him, Spurrier, Gus are at the top. Then Freeze.

Saban 3 years at Bama. Chizik did in 2 years at AU. So I'll go with -1 years.
