My question is two-fold: What is Nick Saban's all time record vs UT, and in 3 years, what will Nick Saban's all time record against UT be?

No Saban to NFL jokes, thats 1940's Germans)

Doesn't matter. His team should not have suffered 3 losses, even if he had to replace NINE starters on defense and sprinkle in how a 90 year old's dick is more intelligent than McElwain's OC ability is... Saban should go undefeated every year. In fact, he should have the Crimson Tide's football program promoted to the NFL. Nah, frick that, Alabama should be so awesome, the NFL wouldn't take them because even that league would feel inferior to Alabama.

But that's not he case. Saban/Alabama lost three games. Therefore, he should be fired immediately. Or better yet, perhaps we should send him to Tennessee and let the Vols suffer the wrath of having an overrated Saban as their HC...

I'm glad the rest of the world has finally seen how overrated Nick is. Now we won't see anymore "Saban is gonna ditch Bama and take Job x" threads, right???

Saban is VERY overrated.

That said, he's still one of the best in the buisness

South Carolina played the game of their life. Not once the rest of the year did they ever play at that level again.

Bama didn't have their worst day...but they definitely weren't on point. Bama's potential was evident several times this year. Youth and inexperience in critical positions is how they lost 3 games this year.

Good points and to add (because we are discussing the reality of coaching vs. the players who play for the coaches) INJURY was a major issue with Bama this year. Coach Saban doesn't actually play the game, either.

so i am assuming that tennessee fans would turn down saban if he declared that it was always his dream to coach UT. you know, cause he is overrated and this thread has nothing to do with UT's jealousy

He's a badass recruiter and rebuilder of football programs. His weakness is in gameday coaching. Truth.

The Michigan State game showed Alabama's potential. Teams don't always play to their potential. If you want to know how they lost 3 games, just watch them.

all three games could have gone either way with a couple of plays. you cant win every game every year.

no joke. it amazes me how if a team loses one or two games, all of a sudden the coach is overrated everytime.

o well they have more talent so why didn't they win?

sometimes the other just outplays you and has a better day.

seahawks beat the saints but i'll take drew brees and sean payton over hasselbeck and carrol 100 times out of 100.

No kidding. The way some people here think, Coach Bryant would be considered overrated. Not only him, but every great coach.
