What is funny about that? In normal years, I would agree, but not this year. ND beat a 10-2 Stanford team, demolished a 10-2 OU team, and beat USC on the road. Not to mention they matched Alabama's best OOC game by beating Michigan.
Alabama won at LSU, Lost at home to A&M, and beat UGA.
Notre Damn played a better schedule in 2012. It doesn't matter, because I think Bama is better, but seeing their rise in the polls makes sense.

Ummmm We beat Michigan when they were #8 ( a joke) ND beat them ranked #18..
We won 41-14/ ND beat them 13-6
And we beat #3 UGA after the regular Season ended..j

Yea, we all know they are undefeated...the point is look at the teams they beat. You can' t see the Bias? And like someone already said; We beat them it won' t matter anyway...

Good Lord what a bad post. They didn't even get close to the top 10 until after they beat a top 10 ranked team. Then it took another 5 weeks or so to get in the top 5.

1) It doesn't matter what they were ranked when you won, but how good they actually are. If you want to go that route, ND beat No. 10 Michigan State (who finished 6-6 I believe).
2) Transitive property doesn't work in sports. Especially when, against the common opponent, both teams won.
