Is there any coach in the SEC other than Nick whose job is 100% safe?

I think Miles can lose 3 max. If he loses 3 in the same fashion as last year then they will probably fire him.

Miles needs to make the final 4 or beat bama.

What if he goes 11-1 but doesn't win the division or make the playoffs because he loses to undefeated BAMA?

I have to say that Miles is on the dumbest hot seat of all time. If he gets fired it will be the worst firing ever. LSU will regret the move.

I'm not even sure what the 2nd worst firing ever would be.

The only question about Sumlin is if aggy has the cash to fire him after the contract they gave to keep SC from "stealing" him from them.

With out the answer to that, the question is moot as Sumlin is nothing more than a lame duck.

His buyout after this year is the same as Les's buyout after last year.

Don't know how many Miles needs, but he'll get 15.

So remove Sumlin's name from the list, he's safe.

It was only a few years ago aggy AD was borrowing money from the academic side to stay in operation.

Gus needs at least 7 I think. Another Birmingham bowl, and I don't think even JJ'S retarded arse can keep from firing him.

Miles has to win 10 in regular season or he's gone. Unless 9 somehow results in an SEC title.

He barely stayed on at 9-3 last year, and with a cheaper buyout this year and expectations sky-high, if he doesn't get LSU to 10 regular season wins the Jimbo flirtations will happen again and probably happen this time around.

Miles is great, love him, he will forever be remembered, but it's time for a title, either SEC or national or both.

the worst year Miles has had he won 8 games. never had a losing season. played for two NC's and won one. won two SEC championships. had an undefeated season. won almost 80% of games coached. etc

he's not getting fired. and i'll bet he win's 10 or more games this year. you would be wise not to bet against me.

That's just because he's a first year coach.

Same thing with Odom and (barf) Muschamp.

What if you get a really bad replacement who can't get you to 10 wins though?

Miles: enough to get to Atlanta. Better win there for some insurance.
Malzahn: Just one- the Iron Bowl. Good luck
Sumlin: A BCS Bowl might save his arse. MIGHT, I said. Dust off your resume', Kevin.

He almost got fired last year while winning 9. This team is loaded to the gills and has very expectations. If he doesn't win at LEAST 10 in regular season he will be gone. I think he will get the 10, but that's what he will need.

Jimbo said no last year. What makes you think he would come this time?

It's not gonna look good, firing a HC three years after a NCG appearance and firing another two years after a NC.

Auburn just needs to accept who they are...a decent team that will never have consistent sustainable success.

You're "Smokin Rope" if you think LM will be back at LSU if he only wins 8 games.

Most of us LSU Alums/Fans think he'll be gone if he only wins 9.
