Oh really? We recovered an onside kick twice and footage showed the refs. got the original call wrong. That was remarked upon by many media types in the week that followed the game (not by us fwiw despite it being a bad call). Does that mean we'd have scored had we gotten it? Maybe or maybe not. But acting like an 8 pt loss is a beat down or domination is comical.
Congrats on the close loss that wasn't even that close. 2014 Tennessee football... looking for moral victories against Mizzou.

I can't keep up with your current obsession. Your next Sig should be a hot or not info graphic.

I see you're moving the goalposts yet again and making a spurious claim in order to do it. Your argument was that your victory was DOMINATION. Your argument failed and you know it.

In 2012 you guys were up 14 with about 10 minutes left against us. Was that game a nail biter? We were up 16 with less than 2 minutes left and they scored a garbage TD and then missed an outside kick.
what was the score against us with 2 minutes left? That's why it wasn't a nailbiter.
If you are within one score and have time for an onside kick and a subsequent drive, its still a close game. Studies have shown that onside kicks when the other team is expecting it are successful 20% of the time.

Link since I know you're going to bitch and moan about that stat.
And since this remarkably needs to be cleared up - a one possession game means the team only needs to score once to be able to tie it up. Fricking milk toasts up in this thread.

Dobbs is also getting more preseason hype than Mauk. Volunteers win again.

My contribution to the thread was Mauk has had a better college career than Dobbs in every measureable way. You are confusing me with another poster on claiming last year's game was a "domination". The outcome wasn't ever in question but a domination is 20+ points. Go back and search but someone else (I think one of your fans actually) used the term domination.

Step 1. make claim to domination
Step 2. be proven wrong
Step 3. attempt resetting the frame of the argument
Step 4. claim victory
Step 5. look like an idiot in the process

To be clear, I didn't say that the game against Tennessee was domination. I said Dobbs was dominated.

I don't think either of us said it actually. It was the guy who thought Dobbs career started at the end of last season.

^^It's a semantics argument now.

Missouri fan says Dobbs got dominated.
UT fan says one possession game =/= domination
A Missouri brainiac tries to argue that it wasn't a one possession game.
A bunch of other dumb arguments occurred.
Here we are.

Explains my presence here too.
I've never argued on the side of Tennessee on this board. Today was a day for new experiences.

Conveniently leaves out step #1. Dobbs and the other shite Tenn QB's listed on page are all better than Mauk which was disproven and lead to them claiming their loss last year was a moral victory.

I will consider this a summit of the top teams in the east in 2015. I think we collectively got a lot of things figured out in this session.
