Don't get me wrong - I think Dobbs is overrated. But from 2013 to 2014, Dobbs' passer rating went up by 30 points (100 to 130) and Mauk's went down 22 points (143 to 121).

They're still both pretty good, but that upward trend is the cause for most of the commotion.

Oh, so you're saying Mizzou as a team is winning the games? I thought from those stats you posted that your QB was winning the games. Getting beat by 30 in an SEC championship game again probably will not earn him an award. But like you said, who knows?

What does the QB that gets dominated by the team that lost the SEC championship get?

Much more preseason hype, apparently. I wonder why?

LOL. An onside kick that put them within a TD/2 pt conversion and then a missed onside kick. You are making it sound like the Seahawks/Patriots Super Bowl ending. I know we both watched the same game one of us is not being honest about how close it was.

Great job scoring that TD late to turn a 16 point loss into an eight point loss. Dobbs still got dominated.

I wasn't actually on the field when we scored, but thank you.

And Missouri sucks. Go suck a dick in Cape Girardeau

Missouri sucks, yet after three seasons in the SEC we're far, far better than Tennessee. What does that make Tennessee?

it's no secret Tennessee's been pretty down the past several years

Also, it's funny that despite our lack of success lately, we are still getting much more hype than Mizzou, and I can see it's making you mad

You scored a TD down 16 to pull within 8 and missed an onside kick to lose the game. Generally a one possession game would be you having the ball down 7 but I guess you could call it that. It was never close to being a tie to any casual observer but it seems like you will just continue to go round and round being ignorant on this. Are you intentionally this obtuse with everything or just Tennessee football?

Tennessee football's low: Arguing about how close their home loss was.

You, A&M, and Arkansas are certainly the kings of the preseason. No doubt about that!

Oh really? We recovered an onside kick twice and footage showed the refs. got the original call wrong. That was remarked upon by many media types in the week that followed the game (not by us fwiw despite it being a bad call). Does that mean we'd have scored had we gotten it? Maybe or maybe not. But acting like an 8 pt loss is a beat down or domination is comical.

In 2012 you guys were up 14 with about 10 minutes left against us. Was that game a nail biter? We were up 16 with less than 2 minutes left and they scored a garbage TD and then missed an outside kick. Both games were about as close to losses for Mizzou against Tenn and Georgia against Mizzou. Unless you think Mizzou was going to beat you in '12?

Everyone is picking us 7th in the west and we've been pretty quiet despite most us feeling very good about our team this year.
